The Fire 12 hat system develops your junior golfer's ability to score. Participants will receive a white Glenmore junior hat at their first match. Once they shoot a score of 12 or better on the white 3-hole course and pass the white (i.e., basic) rules/etiquette test they will receive an orange Glenmore junior hat. At that point they will start attempting to shoot a score of 12 or better from the orange course and need to pass the orange rules/etiquette test, and so on through all six levels of increasing challenge:
White Hat/Course: 25 yards
Orange Hat/Course: 50 yards
Red Hat/Course: 100 yards
Green Hat/Course: 150 yards
Blue Hat/Course: 200 yards
Black Hat/Course: Regular Forward Tees
Fire 12 participants will shotgun start on Sundays at 3pm, playing their 3 holes in groups of 3 or 4. The program will usually take 60-75 minutes.
